In the AGM 2023 the decision was taken to institute an annual membership fee of £10 per year. This covers the cost of administrative tasks associated with running the charity such as running the website, paying for visiting speakers, etc.

The Trust also supports “A Companions Way - the Gloucestershire Course in Spiritual Direction”. This is a 2 year course which encourages spiritual reflection, formation, prayer practice, and developing Contemplative listening skills. It aims to give a broad introduction to the ministry of spiritual accompaniment,  and has been running successfully for over twenty years.

With recent developments in remote working, the course has been revised to be in blended format, commencing with a residential Introductory weekend. There follows fortnightly meetings on Zoom. Each of the four semesters closes with an in-person day, and there are 2 further weekends; one offering an experience of Ignatian Guided Retreat, and the second focussing on how we might encounter “Otherness” in our own life and those around us.
